Rafael has recently worked with the most dynamic female soul singer in the world,  Tina Turner, together with her team of dancers and vocalists, to rehearse and choreograph material for a special one-off event.

DAZED AND CONFUSED:


In december 2004, Rafael was asked by stylist Hector Castro to art direct a photoshoot for Dazed and Confused magazine with italian photographer Laura Sciacovelli using Rambert dancers; Melanie Tell,Megumi Eda and Lucila Alves wearing Marc Jacobs. The image appeared on this years March issue of the magazine.
ROBERT CARY WILLIAMS:

Rafael collaborated with avant-garde fashion designer Robert Cary-Williams on his autumn/winter 2004 catwalk show at London fashion week this February.

Bonachela and Cary-williams have know each other for 6 years and have previously worked together on because which was performed at the Isleworth Festival in 1999.

Bonachela short film Muse uses pieces from Cary-Williams Spring/Summer 2004 collection. They worked together on the Autumn/Winter 2004 show concept. The performace piece for the show, featured performers from Rambert, with live violin music played by Ruth Palmer and music compiled by Pandora's Jukebox and the gritty backdrop of the London Astoria theatre.
